March 17th Meal Plan with a GIANT giveaway {sponsored}

GIANT recently launched their own line of products that are the same quality at a lower price. It sounds like a great way to save but we all know that certain members of our family may balk at changing brands. GIANT challenges you to ‘buy theirs, get ours free’* so you can see the quality for yourself. (*=while supplies last)

GIANT sent us several products alongside their brand name competitors to try, and we found that in most cases we preferred the GIANT brand product. Those times we didn’t prefer it the savings convinced us it was worth a slight deviation from our favorites for the cost savings.

For instance, we stacked up GIANT’s brand chewy chocolate chip granola bars next to a name brand competitors.

On first look the bars were ever so slightly different in color. To make it a true taste test though I cut the bars in pieces after removing them from their packaging and offered them up to the family to see what they thought. 2 out of 3 kids preferred the GIANT brand granola bars and the 1 who preferred the other brand said the ‘other one’ was ‘still really good.’ In other words, she’ll eat it. Win-win!

In the end we all agreed that GIANT brings their own brand to the table with delicious and affordable results.

I put together a menu plan for this week including some of GIANT’s brand products. Don’t forget to sign up for a Bonus Card for additional savings. And keep reading for a reader giveaway!
