I was sharing via Periscope (catch it on Periscope for 24 hours) about how I prep and plan for my week, and shared a quick tip with ‘scope watchers that I thought you would find useful, too.
Do you use Google Calendar for your appointments, schedules, and events? It’s such an easy tool to use to keep track of your schedule and share it with your family members. You can share a Google calendar with your soccer team, with your book club, with your teens, or with your spouse.
But for so many of us it’s not enough to have it in our calendar. I learned a quick tip that will help you be on top of your to dos for the day.
Set up your Google calendar to send you an email each morning (you pick the time) to ensure that you see all your scheduled items when you check your email in the morning.
Here’s a sample of the email.
WOOT! No scheduled to dos!
How to set up daily email agenda from Google calendar
First login to your gmail account. Next you’re going to go to your calendar.
Now click the gear.
Then click on settings.
Once you click on settings this menu will pop up.
Simply check the box for daily agenda and you’ll get an email once a day with your scheduled calendar events.
I keep my personal and work calendars separate, but you can set it up to be all on one calendar and receive one email each day with all your events listed.
That’s it! Now each morning you’l get that email at 5am to tell you what you have to do today.
Let me know if you try it!
