Ready to start meal planning, but don’t know where to start?

Monday: I’m out of town!
Tuesday: Birthday Dinner!
It’s my birthday, so I get to eat whatever I want. 😉
Wednesday: Stir Fry Night
Stir fry night is my favorite! We get to choose what goes in our custom-made stir fry, and I always choose ALL the veggies. Snow peas, broccoli, carrots, onions, and more. The must-have? A sprinkling of ginger and garlic. YUM.
Thursday: Taco Night
Taco Thursday anyone? I’ll serve up my easy guacamole and tons of veggies to top our tacos. Lately I’ve been loving a little arugula on top fresh from our garden.
Friday: Burgers
Burgers are on the menu. We purchase local grass fed beef which makes for an amazing burger. I’ve been experimenting with veggie burgers, but haven’t found a recipe I love yet. On the side? These kick your mouth into overdrive bacon-wrapped onion rings. They’re amazing. We throw some greens on the side for a nice balance to all that meat.
Saturday: Clean out the fridge night
We’ll work on cleaning out the fridge of all the leftovers and foods that need to be eaten up before they go bad. It’s a great way to reduce waste. Read about how we reduce food waste at home here.
Sunday: Pizzas
Pizzas are so much fun to make at home. We’ve been pretty happy with this Cup 4 Cup pizza mix lately, but you can always try our Whalen Family pizza dough recipe if you’re not gluten-free. The base of it is pretty simple no matter what type of flour you use. I am totally planning to use some that arugula from our garden for this awesome sounding apple arugula pizza from Vegging at the Shore. (I can eat feta fine thankfully!)
What’s on your menu?
