Last week I spent a LOT of time in the yard (more here), and also had dizziness from a medication I’m taking so I did a lot less cooking than usual. Thankfully the husband was able to man the stove for a few nights and the kids pitched in (sort of). I’m back to ‘normal’ now so I’m looking forward to cooking again this week.

Since I was busy working in the yard all afternoon we just threw together some sandwiches.

Another night of yard work meant the husband was in charge of dinner so we had breakfast for dinner.
Friday: Appetizer night. A fun way to end our week.
Happy to have an easy plan since I was feeling dizzy all afternoon (a side effect of medication I’m taking).
Saturday: Clean out the fridge night.
Best night of the week!
Sunday: Hamburgers, hot dogs, watermelon, fresh corn on the cob, and a big green salad with strawberries.
Nom nom nom. The kids ate the watermelon on Saturday, so we had cherries instead.
My wife does a great job with meal plans. She usually prepares everything on the weekend and we just need to put it in the oven or heat it up each night.
That’s a great way to make the most of your time and meal plan!
