November Menu Plan: Week One
Monday (November 2): Steak and Potatoes
Steak with mustard shallot sauce, roasted potatoes (add a little lemon when you’re done and it makes them totally pop!), green beans, and salad with apples and walnuts.
Tuesday (November 3): Stir Fry
I love all the veggies on top of more veggies! It’s so delicious with all the great seasonal produce we have during the summer. We usually have beef for stir fry (our local Wegman’s carries organic stir fry meat) and/or shrimp, and sometimes bacon. Because bacon.
Wednesday (November 4): Cider glazed pork loin
This is perfect for a fall night! It’s delicious especially served with sweet potato fries or mashed sweet potatoes, roasted green beans, and gluten-free cornbread.
Thursday (November 5): Paninis
Paninis are a great dinner option because they’re easy to make, and they can be customized for everyone. Served with a side salad and some homemade fries they’re a great, hearty dinner after a lot of summertime play.
Friday (November 6): Pizza
Pizza is on the menu for tonight since it has been about once a week lately.
Saturday (November 7): Brinner
Breakfast for dinner is always a favorite. We’ll have gluten-free pancakes, smoothies, and bacon.
Sunday (November 8): Clean out the fridge night
Once a week we eat up all our leftovers. It saves us a bundle and reduces food waste (which costs use BILLIONS each year).
Pamela’s pancake and waffle mix is great if you don’t want to make your own. It contains dairy, so if you have to avoid it you might want to look for different one. Affiliate link-> http://amzn.to/1QaAwLS
I need to grab that gluten-free pancakes recipe. I’m getting close to returning to grains and want to start off g-free. Maybe this will be perfect!
