Rocksbox is a subscription service like no other. It’s a jewelry subscription service that allows you to try jewelry before you buy. Like many other subscription services you can buy the items that come from your box or you can try them out for awhile, wear them everyday, or wear them for a special occasion, and then box them up and return them.
I signed up for Rocksbox and immediately took their survey to help direct my stylist to the right items for my style. You can choose from styles, metals you prefer, and more to help your stylist get to know what type of jewelry you like.
Next, you can go through the online ‘catalog’ of pieces and choose things you like. This took me a bit of time, but it was incredibly helpful for me to choose the pieces I would normally wear. I also picked some pieces that are a little out of my typical style ‘zone,’ but would allow me to experiment a bit. Both are reflected in the selections my stylist sent me.
In just a few days my package arrived and I was so excited to see what would be in my box. It arrived in a cardboard box, but inside it was pretty packaging and a padded return envelope.
Inside the Rocksbox
Hey Rocksbox!
A note from my stylist and info and prices for each of the pieces is included.
The return label is revealed after you remove your jewelry.

I think it will be fun to try these pieces out and see what works, what I like, and whether I want to keep the items or not. If I don’t it’s easy to send them back and let my stylist know what I liked and didn’t like about the pieces so next month’s Rocksbox will be even better.
Right now I’m leaning towards keeping the long Vanessa Mooney necklace. I like that it feels glam and a bit industrial, too.
